IELTS General Training measures  English Language Proficiency in a practical, everyday context. The text and task reflect both workplace and social situations.

IELTS General Training Part 1 Listening Task:

 Format:

You will have 4 audio accents. write answers according to 

• Multiple Choice
• Matching Points
• Diagram Labelling
• SentenceCompletion       

You will Be Listening to 4 recordings of native English Speakers and write answers.

Recording 1: Conversation between two people set in every social context.
Recording 2: A monologue is set in every social.
Recording 3: A Conversation is set up to four people set in an education or training context.
Recording 4: A monologue on an academic subject.

IELTS General Training Part 2  Reading task:

Format :

Three Reading Passages with Task

Part 1: Two-short or Three short Factual texts. 

Part 2: Two short work-related, factual texts.

Part 3: One longer text on a topic of general interest.

The Reading segment comprises of 40 inquiries, intended to test a wide scope of understanding abilities. These incorporate perusing for principle thoughts, perusing for detail, skimming, understanding coherent contention and perceiving authors' suppositions, perspectives and reason.

IELTS General Training Part 3 Writing Task: 

Format:

• Letter writing task (min 150 words)

IELTS General Training Part 4 Speaking Task:

Format:

• Face to Face Interview
• Short questions and speaking more about Familier topics.

Type1:  The examiner will ask you general questions about yourself and a range of familiar topics, such as home, family, work, studies and interests. This part lasts between four and five minutes.
